A chronic problem with Sluice Recirculation Systems is the gradual increase of water viscosity over time due to fine suspended particles within the solution. As viscosity increases, gold recovery decreases. UNTIL NOW! Introducing our new Desilter Hydrocyclone that literally strips particles down to dust (10 microns)! This device operates in tandem with the Gold Rattler Dewatering Shaker Deck and Gravity Sand Filters to maintain absolute lowest water viscosity for maximum gold recovery. It is especially effective on materials containing high clay of silt content. Never have to worry about gooey water flowing through your system again!

Hydrocyclones are very effective classification devices which, as a result of centrifugal forces in the spinning fluid, cause solids to be separated. They are a simple an inexpensive device, with no moving parts, relative to the amount of material they remove.

This Hydrocyclone rated for the Tsurumi Pump used with the Gold Rattler. Muddy fluid enters the chamber tangentially at a high velocity produced by the pressure of the pump. As the muddy fluid spirals downward through the conical section, centrifugal force and inertia cause the solids to gravitate outwardly towards the wall of the cone. Solids fall along the cone wall according to their mass and exit out the bottom (apex). Within the this narrow part of the cone, a low pressure inner vortex is created, working its way upward and exits the top of the cone, containing fluid cleared of suspended particles.

This Hydrocyclone can be ordered as part of your initial Gold Rattler purchase or purchased as a upgrade at a later date. This Hydrocyclone is ONLY available for Gold Rattler owners.
